Jo Shipley

I am Jo, an experienced energy healer with a deep passion for earth energies, plant and crystal medicine. I am a soulful intuitive and I draw on all the experiences of my personal and professional journey with earth and spirit energies. I draw on Jungian psychology and trauma informed principles.  I enjoy creating a healing practice that supports and uplifts each person I work with. I am a Brennan Healing Science student, certified crystal healer, Reiki Master and Australian Bush Flowers Essences practitioner. I am also an intuitive spiritual guide and I love to blend my practice with astrology insights and herbal wisdom. 

My professional training includes the body’s energy field, plant and crystal energetics, and metaphysical practices, all of which inform my intuitive and compassionate approach. 

I am also a writer and communication professional. I love to celebrate people and share their inspiring healing stories on my blog, podcast, and on my radio programme 'Wellness Valley' on Yass FM 100.3.  

I have practiced at The H Dispensary, Griffiths, ACT since 2024 offering energy healing, crystal therapy healing, Australian Bush Flower Essence healings, spiritual guidance and reiki. 

In my sessions, I like to provide a safe, nurturing space where clients can experience the rebalancing of their body’s energy field through energy healing and crystal medicine. Every session is uniquely tailored to address your physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

 Through the gentle energy of the universal field, I help align the auric field and rebalance chakras to bring harmony back to the body. For those experiencing persistent challenges or deeply rooted emotional patterns, deeper energetic works can assist in releasing energetic blocks, repairing cords and clearing stagnant energy to improve harmony in the body’s energy flow.

 I am a member of the International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT). 

Having grown-up on the Neolithic landscapes of southern England, I have a deep-rooted connection to the ancient energetic landscapes of Sussex, Wiltshire, Cornwall, Wales and Brittany. I was able to feel the energy vortices of the standing stones and hill-top forts from a young age and it fostered a strong connection to earth energies, dowsing, geology and crystals, combined with a deep love for chasing waterfalls, Celtic traditions and fossil hunting on the Jurassic coast. 

Having enjoyed a 30 year career in government and military communications - where I enjoyed celebrating people and telling their stories - my transformational path to healing began during my family’s traumatic journey through military PTSD. This awakening experience inspired me to fully embrace my lifelong connection to spiritual and holistic practices. Now in Australia, I have immersed myself in holistic healing and my spiritual path, and enjoy learning from my wise mentors of diverse faiths and healing traditions worldwide.

 My journey has included immersive training with incredible teachers, such as Byron Bay’s renowned shamanic crystal healer Rachelle Charman, international spiritual Pastor Lucy Baker, and the Golden Light herbalist, Patti Hueneke. 

I am in year three of a four-year professional development program with the Barbara Brennan School of Healing (BBSH), a transformative institution founded by former NASA physicist and psychologist/spiritualist Barbara Brennan. This study is expanding my ability to blend spiritual, psychological, and scientific principles, profoundly deepening my work with the human energy field for healing and personal transformation.
